Re: Heater hindsight

And so did I Steve!--At 6' 4" and 270 lb (mostly beer belly) I don't even attempt to get under the dash without taking out the front seat! LOL And Rich is a wirey fella :-).............................MO ----- Original Message ----- From: "Steven Charette" <stevec@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Had to laugh when I read your comment. In my younger days I could sit at
the wheel, tuck my legs up and spin down under the dash. Tried that on the
'64 recently and realized that a) I can no longer tuck my legs up close,
and, b) my torso no longer fits between the steering wheel and the seat. I finally weaseled my way down onto the floor, finished what I was doing, and came to the sickening realization that I wasn't getting out of there without
help. Fortunately my daughter happened by and saw me struggling like an
overturned turtle.

There's not much I miss about being 18 but that's right up at the top of the
list!

I just took the heater out of my car. It was easy! Except that I thought I'd have to do the "Help I've fallen and can't get up" call when I tried to get out of the car after laying on my back! Whew, I made it. Anyway I wish i had taken it out before I did the wire harness. It opens up the dash underneath
really awesome. I could hide some nitrous there :-)
