Hello, I?m Dave and I?ve been visiting this site for quite some time and
recently joined about a month ago. I?m not only new to the ?62 to ?65 Mopar
site but a new and dedicated Mopar Fan since I owned my ?64 Dodge for about
5 years now.  I?m of senior age and just 7 months into retirement and reside
in Eastern PA. I don?t know what took me so long to come to my senses, I
guess what they say is true, with age comes wisdom!
I?ve been car crazy all my life. I?m mechanically inclined and been school
trained and employed in the auto body repair and refinishing field during
and after my high school years (a long time ago) but left the trade in favor
of improved benefits and income.
I remember during my high school days, admiring those potent "then late
model" Mopars of the 60?s of which I could not afford to buy then. So today,
my project car is a ?64 Dodge B body two-door hardtop model 440. It has the
original 383 4 barrel and 4 on the floor w/dual exhaust and 8 ¾? Sure-Grip.
No p/s, p/b or A/C just a straight AM radio and heater. In my mind, this is
a perfect example of one of those memorable and classic Mopar muscle cars of
the day. 
It is now in my humble 25?X40? shop under-going a complete tear down getting
ready for a full rotisserie repair / rebuild. There is ample evidence in all
the usual areas of haphazard patchwork/repairs that must first come out in
order to be correctly repaired. But I don?t mind, I have the time now and
I?m back doing what I?ve always loved. 
For the present, my plan is to re-store it to ?as stock?. I?ve always
appreciated originality. Although, the further I progress with the teardown,
the more difficult it?s becoming to resist the urge to soup-it-up! (Or
hot-rod it!) So maybe if I do any hot-rodding to it, it may well only be the
reversible bolt-on type of modifications.
