I am lost about all that anyway Rich. All I did to mine was pull the chunk, clean and new oil. Glad it was a 65 after I am learning more about tapered azles and all that stuff. Anyway...I am confused enough about these springs to scramble my poor tired brain...and worrying about MO's condition regarding same has me totally shook up!!

I'd have to do the conversion via the adapter or a different trans
shaft. Seems easier to just put on a new boot now. Getting lazy I guess.
