Re: Lots Of Small Holes

Herb et al, I used the woven fiberglass cloth and resin . But this time, I will put tape on the underneath side of the floors where the holes are, to keep drips from coming thru. Then I will give a good thick coat of something like POR 15 and lay some of that fiberglass cloth into it while still wet and then another coat of POR 15 over the top. I am hoping it will dry clear through. On woven fiberglass cloth--If you have dips ot ridges ( like reinforcement beads) , cut your cloth on the bias and lay it into the bead so the cloth grain is at an angle to the bead. It will follow the contour better that way ....................MO

I will be their welding till the cows come home!! A sand blaster got
carried away lots of little holes but solid and the bottom side is finished,
welding will destroy it. So I am trying to fill them from the top side.
Some one and I think it was MO had the same problem and it seemed to me he
found a solution.

I seem to remember a short time ago there was a discussion about filling
small holes in floors and trunks. I found numerous very small holes but the
trunk is solid overall. What did we decide was the cure short of replacing
floors was it like a thick POR 51 or what was the product?
