RE: Mounted on wrecker '62



I'd checked the coil as well.  Exact same description happened on my 360...turned out the coil had self destructed.

The coil could be a good candidate. I had intermittent spark when my 
coil heated up and the car would die. Like at the start line at the 
races:-( You do have voltage to the coil don't you?
