Several times people have come up to me at cruise-ins and on the street and said my car looks perfect the way it is (nasty old green paint and caved in pass. door) and not to change a thing, but I tell them I'm tried of it looking like an escapee from a junk yard and I want new paint and shiny new chrome. That rat rod look is ok for some cars, but after 9 years I want NEW STUFF!! I will paint it myself, so if it gets scratched once it's painted, I'll just fix it (after I get done crying!).
