They are the same for big and small block and thus interchangeable. All smallblocks except 360's and cast crank 340's are neutral balance. Most bigblocks are neutral balance with the exception of '71-up 383's, all 400's(except stick cars that have steel cranks) and '73-up 440's(again, except stick cars) that all use cast cranks.

a 10.5" stick shift bigblock flywheel they'd like to sell? Are big and 
small block flywheels interchangeable, and how are the 2 balanced?
