a half ago,,,,,,, they were installed by a professional upholster who has
been in business for over 40 years, and they look great,,,,,,, that is all

Well, when I had my fit problems I called Legendary and was told, by them,
as I stated, to trim the foam to mirror the old foam. And was told they
now
use a generic foam set that fits several years and styles. Legendary's #
1-800-363-8804. You may have gotten lucky and received the correct foam
specific to your application. Or did you reuse the old foam, that would of
course need no trimming?

I have put one set in a 63, and another set in a 65, we did no trimming,

only put slits in where needed for shaping where the wire stay were to be

hog ringed to the springs,,,,,

Yes, you need to trim the new foam to mirror the old foam as they send you

a

generic set of foam. I needed to trim my foam to fit inside my 63 Sport

Fury's seat covers. Don't get to aggressive as the old foam has shrunk
but

Yes trim it.

Anybody ever install a set of Legendary bucket seat covers on a 64

Polara or similar? I'd like to know if it's necessary to cut any of the

foam off when you use new buns. I'm having a little trouble fitting mine

and it almost looks like the foam is too big.
