Jim The guy must have taken pity on you and coated the drums when he had a big run of black. The average minimal fee for powder coating is between $100 and $120. I had a guy that was very inexpensive but he went out of business even before the down turn in the economy because he didn't charge a minimum fee. Just my 2 cents worth.
