Re: lights help

Make sure the wiring plugs are pushed on the bulkhead connector in the firewall.
Sometimes they come unplugged, and the headlights won't come on.
That's probably not the culprit here, but always try the simple stuff first.

My '63 started doing it too. Tried the regulator (twice) to no avail. I'll be interested to hear what the fix is.

Its funny that this topic popped up, because driving my '62 880 around
during the holiday, the car developed a similar problem that it didn't
have before.

I noticed it one night because the headlights were pulsating, going
from dim to bright to dim, about on the pulse of every second, or 3/4
second. I looked down and the ampmeter was doing the same thing. The
next day I drove it, the ampmeter is still pulsing towards charge +.
It doesn't pulse at idle, only when driving or off idle. I thought it
was the regulator but havn't done anything with it yet, any other
ideas other than those previously listed? Thanks.
