Dennis,The radiator is not connecting to the frame. It will be a cross flow, connected to the radiator support panel top and bottom. Going to fab and weld brackets on the core channels, put in rubber bushings, then bolt up. Have to fabricate a new lower support and the hood latch bar support. The radiator itself will be 31" wide, (leaving 1/2" clearence on each frame rail), 21" tall, 2 electric puller fans, w/shourd and AC core. . I made a cardboard box pattern to make sure it will fit. My radiator man tells me it will be his "triple by-pass" design. Divide the radiator core in 3 verticle sections and the water will pass from the bottom to the top, top to bottom, bottom to the top and then out. I really wanted to use a engine fan but my
radiator man talked me into using the electric fans. He said more air flow. Ollie----- Original Message ----- From: "Dennis J." <djohn14296@xxxxxxxxx>

Is it a good idea to attach the radiator to the frame rails? Will not the flexing cause undo stress on the radiator, possibily causeing cracks or speration at the welds? I do not know of any manufactor that coonects radiators to the frame and/or sub frame of a car for this reason, I don't know for sure, I guess more of a question than a reason?
