Re: reverse light




I was sure that Mopar had a reverse warning light in the late 60's. Makes sense , a lot of people were drag racing factory muscle cars and more than one dumprd the clutch at the start line and find out they were in reverse----DANGEROUS!........................MO

The reverse warning light on the dash started in 4 speed cars in either
68 or 69 if I remember right. I had a 69 Dart Swinger 340 in 76 that had
one. I added one to the dash of my 64 Polara a few years ago because I
always liked them. My 73 Roadrunner had one, even though it was only a
factory floor mounted 3-spd.
