Interesting, I've not heard of a 1966 with a factory installed 1965 426 engine. Using today's marketplace mentality standards, I suspect the buyer who bought a new 1966 Mopar with a HP motor when the 1966 models were first released would perhaps be less-than-happy when he or she found out their Mopar got a 426 -- while the buddy who bought a similar Mopar in mid-1966 got a 440. Both great motors. Just a "My car got a leftover engine" sour note potential. Unless the factory dropped in a 426 Hemi of course. Heh, heh....
