tune ups and modern tech?

There is a 6 year old article online about adding a wide-range O2 sensor to a classic Mopar in order to take advantage of that technology to fine tune a performance engine. I was wondering if anyone has used this type of their 62-65 or if there is a more recent and up-to-date article online?
