Re: tune ups and modern tech?

Although not on a 62-65, I'm getting ready to install a new exhaust system on my 87 slant-equipped D100 and will be using the AEM 4100 series set-up as the headpipe already has the O2 bung already welded in place. Am not using the original lean burn original "computer" but going with the HEI conversion.

There is a 6 year old article online about adding a wide-range O2 sensor to a classic Mopar in order to take advantage of that technology to fine tune a performance engine. I was wondering if anyone has used this type of their 62-65 or if there is a more recent and up-to-date article online?

http://www.allpar.com/history/mopar/carb-tuning.html is the old article link.

Thanks,
