I have painted my 63 Dodge Polara engine bay and 318 engine the same colour 
as the body.......orange.

I am not interested in restoring the car to matching anything, I just want 
it to stand out.

oh great, conflicting opinions. I've see it both ways in car show
pics. The ones that came out are black , but I dont know if they are
original.
  I want to say on my 67 Coronet they were black as well
