Actually, 1962 was the ONLY year the sporty Polara 500 could be had as
a 4-door hardtop.  And it was introduced late in the year, just before
the Custom 880 was put into production.  Non-500 Polara 4-door
hardtops could be had from 1960 through the end in 1973.  1962 was the
first year for the Polara 500, and in the U.S. continued as the sporty
big Dodge through to 1969.
