Donnie, this is from a '64 or '65 A-body, most likely a six or maybe a
273, but definitely an A-body. If you select first gear you will
undoubtedly find it is the wide ratio gearset, with a 3.09:1 first
gear. Just count the input shaft turns to get exactly one full turn of
the rear flange ...just over three turns I will suggest. I have never
seen one of these with the close-ratio 2.65 turns for first gear.

Because of the ball and trunnion these are not popular, many people
seem to swap them out for the sliding yoke driveshaft. If you e.mail
