That is one beautiful car. I remember the first time I saw a 426 with a four speed on the way to the drags at Rt. 30, Gary , In. I poked my head in the window of a Plymouth 426 4 Speed at the breakfast place where everyone stopped on the way to the drags.
My first thought was that shifter is a mile long, cool. Most of the four speeds I drove were short shifter Willys Jeeps, 2 seater, at the service station and Corvettes when friends wanted to drive my Dad's 62 4 door Dart on dates. I do not know who got the better deal them or me. They always returned the car in tact and clean and I always returned their Corvette, 61 Fuel Inj or a 63 327 FI 360 Hp Conv., with a functional 4 Speed. By the way I never used the clutch when shifting those Jeeps. The Corvettes I always used the clutch with out taking my foot off the gas pedal when ever it was possible.
I digress. What a great car.
What type of paint did you use? I am getting closer to the body aspect of the BAM Project. My service manual said Acrylic Enamel was the paint for the 1965 Dodge.
