I was at Daly's machine shop today and found out the owner of Mid-America Motorplex had just called him and said it's just a rumor that it is gone forever. He will re-open it as soon as the flood resides.

I am elated, to say the least, to hear this as I just went to all the trouble and expense to get 'ol LeRoar ready to race.

I do want to go up to Thunder Valley and meet the guys there like Mike Creglow. It's no farther than Kearney, NE for me.  It'd be great to do a 1/4 for a change. I'd probably need my 15" tires for the quarter.
