Re: Speaking of power steering...

You are correct Mo.  They do have ends with different length metal portions.

Also there is no need to cut the hose to show orientation of the fittings. Just use a marker on the end to show which way you want the 90 to point.

From looking at the picture, he doesn't have enough hose to sacrifice any of it.  But  I think there are hose ends that  have extended metal tubeing  that would gain back the total length...( italics not intended)..................................MO

I'm just trying to rack my brain but I strongly believe they make the angle ends that swivel also.  As the hoses are not cheep I would call your local jobber and verify or ask them how they want it before I started cutting.  O'Reilly's carries SAE & Metric ends also as I bet your guy will in todays world.

Thanks for that, Dodger!  I think modifying the existing hose to fit what's needed by cutting it up and duct taping the pieces into the shape and connections I need will do.  One small challenge that I may not have mentioned is that the Mopar end of the hose needs an S.A.E. flared fitting, and the Borgeson end is metric.  I feel like it's coming together, and I appreciate any other thoughts as well.

I would check with store, they also have angled ends that may work for your application
