hi, was wondering about the windscreen washer squirt buttons. primarily the foot pump operated button that screws to the floor. does anyone make a repro of these? i bought a basic washer pump kit i was planning on installing instead of the foot pump if theyre not available. was thinking of mounting a second dimmer switch where the foot pump usually goes & wiring it up to a pump connected to the washer bottle. to feed the switch can i run a wire off the relay switch or is there a better place to wire it up to. hope this makes sense, richard.

wierd thing happened today. was cleaning dodge & went to shed to get some kero, couldnt find it. kept rumaging through the shelves & behind a heap of crap i havnt moved for years was a brand new still in original box foot pump. cant remember buying it, or recieving it in the mail, but there it was. has had me stumped all afternoon & all i can come up with is that i probably bought it off ebay late at night after way too many beers & forgot. as far as it turning up in the post, if i got it a couple of years back we were so busy & stressed with other stuff that was happening at the time i prob just put it on shelf thinking i'll get to that soon & completely forgot about it. in a way i'm rapt i found it but really pussled about it all. so ditching plans for electric & going foot pump. car had a plastic bottle & hoses attached when i bought it, still got the bottle. lost one of the sguirters though. will try to get one off a parts car in aus, & will prob use off the shelf plastic hose to connect everything. thanks for the replies fellas.
