I never have had much luck with re-sleeving an engine, last time had to use a partial hard block to get the engine to seal, plus 426 pistons off the shelf may be a bit hard to find, custom no problem. Don't remember if a 426 wedge can go out to a 440. I am sure a list member will know.

Aloha , my brothers from different mothers. So I picked up a 1963 426 wedge block . The motor had high mileage and the piston was floating. So, I have to bore the block . I'm trying to figure out if its better to sleeve it or bore and maybe stroke it. I did buy a set of 63 Max Wedge heads and cross ram intake for the block from another Mopar friend . Just weighing my options and hoping to get some feedback . Mahalo C
