I am using the Carter 4070 with no return line. I used the included isolation kit and you can still hear it but with the Flowmasters it is not annoying. Also be aware that they recommend using a filter before the pump as well as after. I went with a 20 micron filter before the pump because a standard 80 to 100 micron filter reduced the pressure and I'm sure put more of a strain on the pump. Close to the engine I went with a standard Wix 100 micron filter. Good luck.
