Extreme Veteran Posts: 395 Location: Netherlands | Would like to see a picture of the owner, that might clear things up a bit.... I'm sure at that price it will get better treatment from the new owner, it looks very solid and complete and it's loaded AND you get a flame thrower in the bargain! You guys in the US are sooo lucky, i would pick this up in a snap! Edited by Windsor Wendy 2011-10-21 11:14 AM

Expert Posts: 1622 Location: Seville, OH | I didn't know rat rodders were into "numbers matching". I sold a 63 Polara to a neighbor down the street. It was a clean original all red four door, but had some floor pan rust issues. Week later it was flat black with a big plastic rat for a hood ornament.

Elite Veteran Posts: 1155 Location: somerville mass | if you clean up the stripes, easy enough , depending on the type of paint used... rest of the car seems stock w/a add on a/c from the 70's. he prepared it for halloween! oh - and get rid of those stickers...

Veteran Posts: 150 Location: hopkinsville, kentuckky | The bid is up to $3250, and that is too much. Scrap is 250 a ton, so $500 is out, but a thou would buy the car from anybody besides idiots on Ebay.

FwdLk56's Third Account Posts: 738 Location: Midwest USA | ah, a person from "hoptown"... 3250 pro'ly isn't too high yet, but definitely approachin' too high... i've seen ratrods sell for 4500 even with rust surrounding the entire trunk lid and no metal to mount the rubber seal... they tend to be 25 to 30 year olds, not "collectors" per se...
