Expert 5K+ Posts: 9911 Location: Lower Mainland BC | . Does this help? (Think left/right and where the filter, starter and Transfiller tube should be) Edited by 56D500boy 2019-10-25 6:42 PM (57FuryUnderCarriagePhoto_FlippedCorrectly.jpg) Attachments ---------------- 57FuryUnderCarriagePhoto_FlippedCorrectly.jpg (57KB - 146 downloads)

Undercarriage shots walk from front to back of the car in order showing all areas to be as they're supposed to. If you're saying the photos are upside down, that's your personal opinion, but there's nothing physically wrong with the engine/trans setup that I can see...~ ~Peter

Elite Veteran Posts: 628 Location: Lubbock, TX | Yes they can, because imagine you are laying under the car, and spin your body 180 degrees and the new perspective is the other pic. You confused yourself by creating the optical illusion with that flipped pic you made. Look at the steering box, that is always the driver's side, and the oil filter is on the opposite (passenger side) in both pics. It's a bizarre illusion, and arguably the pics could have been from a better perspective, but the confusion is all in our heads. :D ~Peter Edited by CaprockClassics 2019-10-25 11:14 PM

Expert 5K+ Posts: 9911 Location: Lower Mainland BC | . I do not believe that I am confused. The tires are at the front of the car and the eBrake drum is towards the rear of the car. The steering box, pitman arm and the starter are on the driver's side with the oil filter and transmission filler on the passenger side. Right? Well I wasn't being picky about the condition of the car. However, now that you mention it, when the car left the factory for the 57 Model year, there is no way that it was so clean and shiny on the underfloor. Over-restored IMO. BUT that is not what I was pointing out. Ev's62Chrysler - 2019-10-26 12:21 PM Top photo (same as in ad) is correct. Not sure why you're mirroring it. Lay down under your car and take a look. Been under my 56 Dodge with V8, PS and Powerflite many times, including installing a rebuilt starter, neutral safety switch, seat belt anchors, etc. I repeat: 56D500boy - 2019-10-25 10:55 PM.
