Elite Veteran Posts: 655    Location: Finland | I had three issues with the door. It did not lock with the key. The window regulator jumped over a little in the middle of the travel. Something rattled inside the door when I shut it. (We don`t have rattle snakes here..) I got the locking issue solved with a minor adjustment from the outside of the door The crank and handle removing fiddle with the screwdriver isn`t working for me nowadays due to my condition. I know I know , I should have bought a tool K-D 435 when I was young.. But that simple tool should cost me 150-200 usd including all s**tty fees....no no... Ha.. I made a fine working tool costing me a half hour of me precious life time and a discarded plier. The regulator had two things requiring attention. The little lip on backside that controls the axial play on the gear had got a little straightened by time and on the front side there was too much axial movement. I welded more material on the lip and put a oil plug copper seal ring as an axial shim. The rattle was from the gear sector plate which was eliminatedwith a coil spring between the inside of the door steel plate and the regulator arm.
