Extreme Veteran Posts: 395 Location: upstate new york | forward lookers, I need to do some touch up to the painted parts on the interior of my car....looking for a couple specific green paints...is it possible to get these in a rattle can or do i have to go to a professional car paint place and have these colors made? I don't own a paint gun, but that's not to say i won't learn it....what have others done? I'm trying to match the light and dark green schemes. thanks billy (Mopar interior.jpg) Attachments ---------------- Mopar interior.jpg (117KB - 179 downloads)

They will even put it in a spray can if you wish. Sometimes that's the best approach for painting in tight spaces anyway. Or, the interior colors are actually the same as the available exterior colors so you can get a gallon or half gallon mixed up to spray, based on the color codes. But that is harder and the combos don't get it perfect because the base colors have changed since then.

I had that done at one of our local chain automotive parts/accessories stores (LORDCO). They need a nice flat bit, roughly 4" x 4" to get a good scan. The glove box door on that 57 Chrysler should work for scanning the light green. Not sure about the darker green.

Extreme Veteran Posts: 395 Location: upstate new york | Anyone have 1957 Chrysler New Yorker interior color chart? Looking for a couple greens and what they were officially called... Thanks, billy

Expert 5K+ Posts: 9699 Location: So. Cal | They are basically very close to the same colors as the exterior versions. But here are the interior color charts for you. Expert 5K+ Posts: 9699 Location: So. Cal | You're welcome. Yeah, that's the easiest way to get it done if you have a good color sample of what you need.
