Location: PL / EU | I'm looking for shocks for my 1956 Chrysler.
The guys recommend KYB KG4550 and KG5511 for Plym and Dodges.

But the part number for Chrysler and DeSotos is different. Any ideas?

Location: So. Cal | The rears are definitely the same so the KG5511 will be good for you. I believe the fronts are the same dimensions, or close enough to work as well. If in doubt, pull a shock and check out the dimensions compared to what the '57 Chevy KG4550 provides. I remember that Mopar-To-Ya was using these same KYB shocks on his '56 Chrysler. But best to check it out as my memory is not to be trusted 100%. |

Location: PL / EU | Thanks Nathan. I compared KYB and Gabriel. There are slight differences, I have no idea if it's important.
Yes, I know KYB is a better product.

Gabriel is probably the only manufacturer who saying it's correct part of your 56 Chrysler.

Location: So. Cal | I would say that's close enough. It won't collapse quite as far, but otherwise looks good.
