Member Posts: 43 | Dear Gang, Can anyone tell me if there were different interior options for the 1960 Polara? Most seem to have very fancy door panels with mylar inserts around the armrests running toward the back, but I have seen some that have more plain door panels. Can someone answer this question? Someone sent me some photos of a Polara four-door hardtop that has relative plain door panels, and I wondered if there was a plain and fancy version or if these were just incorrect. Thanks! Extreme Veteran Posts: 441 Location: Ohio | The door panel design on the 1960 Dodges was dictated by the model. Therefore, the different trim levels aligned with model: Dart / Seneca, Phoenix, Matador or Polara. Then there are the Canadian models that use a mix of different interiors from Plymouth models. The factory brochure shows the trim levels - Here are the Dart / Phoenix / Pioneer models Edited by Space Trukin Wagon 2020-07-14 10:57 AM (1960_Dodge_Dart_INT-1.jpg) (1960_Dodge_Phoenix_INT-1.jpg) (1960_Dodge_Pioneer_INT-1.jpg) Attachments ---------------- 1960_Dodge_Dart_INT-1.jpg (35KB - 194 downloads) 1960_Dodge_Phoenix_INT-1.jpg (38KB - 202 downloads) 1960_Dodge_Pioneer_INT-1.jpg (36KB - 197 downloads)

Expert Posts: 1935 | . There are two types of trims: vinyl and cloth and all-vinyl… Unfortunately without trim codes… https://www.tpocr.com/dodgebp.html Cloth and Vinyl: Blue, Green, Tan, Gray and Red; All-Vinyl: Blue, Tan, Gray and Red (same as cloth/vinyl except Green)

Member Posts: 43 | Thanks so much for the input. What I am confused about is that the door panel I posted is from a 1960 Dodge Polara, but it is plainer than the panels in the other photos posted to help me see. I am wondering if this could be correct or did someone recover and change the panels on this car? Thanks! Rex

Veteran Posts: 173 Location: christchurch New Zealand | The door panels you show are identical in design/pattern as my Matador 4dr HT, they may have been changed out at sometime as a set ??? my polara 4dr & 2dr HTs all share the advertised patterns with the extra mlds and inserts, even my canadian Polara has the uprated door panel trims.
