Yes, I agree. Thanks to Dave and all the contributors to this wonderful thread.

That being said, it is with great trepidation that I post the next vintage photo....

Sorry people, it had to be posted. Look to the left, at the '57 Plymouth.

Early build '57 with that valence, BUT check out that the radiator yoke is painted body color. never seen that before.
Also check out the seat pattern.... it's opposite of what is normal.

Radiator yoke is black, but the front face of the fenders are body color. What you see white in the middle , lower part of the grille, is snow accumulated there. As for the front face of the fenders, that is normal as the factory did not black out all of them (see pics).
As for the seats, the pattern is perfectly standard for a 57 Belvedere sedan, it is not opposite (see pics).

Found this on eBay - '59 DeSoto

Maybe someone can help get it pictured without having to jump through hoops to view it.

Thanks!

Wonderful thread here folks...However, a while back, this pictures was posted as a "60 Plymouth" but it is not a '60 Plymouth. It's a '61 Plymouth...a Sports Surburban, given the fact it has different fender trim than a '60 does, and extended chrome door trim down the sides. Still, very neat to see however.

Keep these wonderful pictures coming folks!

Looking at all the pictures I am impressed to see a lot of 2 door post and 4 door post sedans as well as many station wagons. They have been much more popular back then.
Nowadays it is sad to see mostly convertibles and 2 door hardtops.

It's kinda sad that you are sad to see mostly verts and 2-dr HTs.. since I doubt you have not seen these cars in real life around there in Bulgaria.
