That being said, it is with great trepidation that I post the next vintage photo.... Sorry people, it had to be posted. Look to the left, at the '57 Plymouth. WARNING! Early build '57 with that valence, BUT check out that the radiator yoke is painted body color. never seen that before. Also check out the seat pattern.... it's opposite of what is normal. Radiator yoke is black, but the front face of the fenders are body color. What you see white in the middle , lower part of the grille, is snow accumulated there. As for the front face of the fenders, that is normal as the factory did not black out all of them (see pics). As for the seats, the pattern is perfectly standard for a 57 Belvedere sedan, it is not opposite (see pics). Member Posts: 13 Location: Michigan, USA | Wonderful thread here folks...However, a while back, this pictures was posted as a "60 Plymouth" but it is not a '60 Plymouth. It's a '61 Plymouth...a Sports Surburban, given the fact it has different fender trim than a '60 does, and extended chrome door trim down the sides. Still, very neat to see however. Keep these wonderful pictures coming folks! Edited by dlvh 2015-11-06 9:09 PM (61 Ply.jpg) Attachments ---------------- 61 Ply.jpg (124KB - 202 downloads) | ||
