These photos were taken from police of southwest Finland FB-site. I think last picture is a set up.
They just dont do visible control at all these days at some spot. They pick a "criminal" while driving if cameras dont do it.

in 1958 they barely had radars. They counted seconds from one spot to another and calculated if it was overspeeding.
Thats why They needed a long wiew.
The stop car was somewhere else.

Bill, pretty sure you are right its a set up, those ladies are definitely not production line workers, and the cars are new, not even finished!

There are more pics in this series and they are worth looking at (if you are into Imperials). These are the only production line pictures of the inside of the new Imperial factory (the old Warren Avenue Desoto factory) that I have seen. Look here for the rest of the Vouge and Warren avenue production line info and pictures.

I have wondered if the white 2 drht the Old Guy is leaning on is my own car, which came off the line in November 59. I think these pics were taken early in the production run due to the Generators installed on the engines. There is more info and pictures in the link I posted if you care to look.
When I took apart my own car all the suspension components were painted black.
Another not well know fact is the 1960 Imperial is a Chick Magnet


Oh, yeah, I forgot to add, the new 1960 Imperial was "America's Most Carefully built Car"!!!

Location: Bjorneborg, Finland		In July 1959, a new Dodge CRL convertible was taken to the American National Exhibition, held in Moscow, USSR, among with other US cars. After the show, the car was returned to Finland.
The second picture shows it about one year later in Helsinki in some kind of happening (notice numbers in side window). One hubcap was already flew out. It still survives today in a county of Åland.
