That said, I am running a 1554 357 (Raybestos H-21176) on my Powerflite equipped 56 Dodge and now I find out that it is supposed to be for a standard transmission car (why, I don't know). I am supposed to be running a 1614 799 but based on the Dorman numbers, I have the feeling that both numbers are really the same hose. Lots of options out there: https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=Raybestos+H-21176 https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=968827&cc=1331581&jsn=10... Mine has a brass bushing/adapter that was screwed into the bottom of the MC and is set-up to work with the flare on the metal part of the rubber hose. I am pretty sure that the brass adapter came with the new Raybestos MC but even if it didn't they are easy to find.
