Location: McCleary, Washington, 98557 Stock #: 20971 Mileage: 51,000 Transmission: Auto Condition: Excellent Exterior: Tropical Coral and Glacier White Interior: Black with Silver Strata Black and Silver Cloth Seller’s Description: 1957 Dodge Coronet Convertible, Hemi Powered If you are interested in this vehicle or have any questions, please call Darryl at (360) 470-2972 Of the 3363 made, only about 10% were built with the 325 Hemi engine. Experts put the survival rate at maybe 10 cars. Purchased by me in 2014 after being in storage in Southern California for 37 years, This very rust-free and straight car underwent a full restoration which was completed in June of 2016. Since then it has received some 18 trophies including many People's Choice and Best of Show, and two at Goodguys Street Rod Shows. The restoration included rebuilding the 325 cubic inch D500 Hemi engine, push-button Torqueflite transmission, brakes, brake booster, suspension, all bearings and seals, radio, etc. The bumpers, window frames, antennas, etc. were all re-chromed, and the super-straight stainless trim re-polished. Custom seat belts (6) with the Forward-Look emblem were installed. No patch panels were necessary, and no “Bondo” used. The original Tropical Coral and Glacier White colors were expertly reproduced in modern PPG paint by a well-known restoration shop. The interior is a custom-ordered black with correct Silver Strata black and silver cloth from SMS in Oregon. It is equipped with the following options: Power steering; power brakes; Solex glass; search-tune radio; heater; back-up lights; twin outside mirrors; two-tone steering wheel; wheel covers; stone shields; full carpeting; trunk carpeting and side panels; dual antennas; deluxe exhaust deflectors; bumper guards; clock; and map light. Tires are American Classic radials that look like original bias-ply tires. Mileage shown is around 51,000 which is likely accurate based on the condition when found. Note - the clock is non-functioning. The radio, which works fine with the I-Pod cable which was added during rebuild, does not pick up local stations – I believe the problem is with the antenna cables. Offering for sale due to my age and health issues. A similar car was sold in Seattle a couple of years ago for $145,000 and it did not have the Hemi engine. Clear title, NOS 1957 WA plate on rear and 1977 CA black plate on front, the last registered to it prior to storage. Additional information and photos available on request. Would consider a driver-quality street rod in partial trade. Buyer to arrange shipping and pay for it directly. Price: $89,000 | ||
