Expert Posts: 2633 Location: Minor Hill, TN | The wipers are back on the car and so are the fury scripts . I am waiting for the wiring harness for the electronic ignition. The 1 that came in the kit would not connect to the modular. Expert Posts: 2633 Location: Minor Hill, TN | Here is another photo you might notice something about the front bumper . This is the last restoration my dad is doing for me and he only did this as a hobby . I also helped on it also. It is waiting to be started the harness that connects to the modualtor did not hook up so I had to wait for another 1 and then the car will be back on the road . It won't let me post a photo for some reason I will try again later Edited by 1961plymouthfury 2020-11-14 10:17 AM

Expert Posts: 2633 Location: Minor Hill, TN | The car is waiting to be started I got the harness but the wrong 1 was sent GRR. I have some electrical problems the front turning signals do not work it is blind in 1 eye( Headlight does not work) Horn does not work and the lighter does not work I do not smoke and the lighter will be used for me to plug in my cell phone charger so I can charge my phone or listen to my music on iPhone. My dad went to a swap Meet and got 4 halogen headlights for the car fuses and a battery terminal and got an awesome deal. For some reason it is not letting post any more photos it must either be me or the site I do not know Edited by 1961plymouthfury 2020-11-22 7:23 PM

Expert Posts: 2633 Location: Minor Hill, TN | Oh I know but for some reason the site is not letting me upload the photos and I do not know why . I do have a video of the car running and going for its 1st drive . It will have more drives but only on the street the horn does not work , front turn signals and the brake lights do not work but those will be corrected . My dad will correct those problems until these are done the car does not go on the main roads . I uploaded the video on youtube and I will be sharing it here also. https://youtu.be/bMi51cKOyrU

Expert Posts: 2633 Location: Minor Hill, TN | Thank you for posting these I really appreciate it . it took almost 6 years to do this car . I was not rushing my dad and this is the last car is doing for me. It was a journey but the hard work really paid off . . I was also advised to use Meguires wax but the liquid . I did and I used a new microfiber towel . This forward looker is getting tired so good night fellow forwardlookers. Edited by 1961plymouthfury 2020-12-02 5:55 AM

Expert Posts: 2633 Location: Minor Hill, TN | I got to do Pulaski, TN Christmas parade on the 17th of December with the PACE car club and got 2nd place but the trophy belongs to every body in the club . I picked it up and waiting on if I should keep it or pass it to the president of the club I let my dad drive the car and I video recorded from my iPhone . I have uploaded some videos of test drives I am on the passenger side if the car . I took the car in for an alignment and had nitrogen put in the tires . Now the car is in hibernation until Spring then its car show and cruise in Season again . Merry Christmas to my fellow forward look owners .

Expert Posts: 2633 Location: Minor Hill, TN | The hard work really paid off . It was a 5 1/2 year project I know some shows require a fire extinglisher In the future I plan to get the bumpers rechromed I hope to locate a shop close to home I live in Tennessee . I am saving to get the windows tinted to protect the interior. There is a thing called REDIRAD-rescue your radio I am looking at ://redirad.com I want to be able to listen to the music from my iPhone through my radio My dad took some more photos of the car and it has stuffed bears in the back seat I was decorating for a Christmas parade. The car club I belong to got 2nd place so I participated with them but all of us picked up a 2nd place trophy. My dad told me he would like to see me get 1st place but it does not matter to me if I get a trophy or not I go to these shows to have a good time. To those who live in Alabama and TN or any other state the TN Valley Mopar club will have its Show June 19,2021 at the Huntsville drag way

Expert 5K+ Posts: 9672 Location: So. Cal | You and your father have done a great job on your Fury. The fabric in the '56 Belvedere looks like it has been replaced as it isn't the original that it would have come with from the factory.
Viper Guy |
| ||
Expert Posts: 2003 Location: Branson, MO | It might not be fabric - it could be vinyl in which case I believe there was no pattern.
Powerflite |
| ||
Expert 5K+ Posts: 9672 Location: So. Cal | The vinyl was only available as an option on the convertibles, not on the coupes. A possible variance could be if the car was built for export. In that case, I'm not sure what it would have come with. Edited by Powerflite 2021-07-21 3:51 PM

Expert Posts: 2633 Location: Minor Hill, TN | There will be no photos of Music city and a video due to hard luck ( Tires on trailer went bad and they need to be replaced) and now my forward look was crying its head lights out . I said I am sorry I did not want to take any chances for you to get damaged its best to be safe than sorry so my dad and I turned around and came home but we all made it . I called the treasurer of Music city and told him what happened I will be getting my t shirt in the mail off I get a hard luck trophy and if I do not that is also ok . This is 1 example why I always take a cell phone
