Im replacing a damaged manual 3 speed sub frame with an automatic sub frame.
Would to put the manual back on the auto sub.
Can anybody tell me if there are any differences that I should know about between frames?
Anything special I will need or will it swap over?

No difference, except maybe the exchangeable crossmember.
