Asking for a friend
He has a 58 Belvedere needs rear drums. ( from past experience new drums from china have been a lost cause they all need turned when you get them if you can)

Are 58 and 61 plymouth rear drums the same

I expected them to be the same, as long as they were the same diameter & width. But the interchange manual can reveal all. You should download a copy for yourself. It states that '57-'58 11" are different from '59, which is different from '60-'61. According to the manual, the only hub & drum that will interchange with it is from '57-'58 Plymouth.

I think the main difference between 57-58 drums and 60-61 drums is the older ones use lug bolts and the newer ones use lug nuts.
