Hi All!

In the process of replacing the " cat whiskers"  in my 1955  Dodge convertible  and came across an issue in removing the rear quarter Windows.  The Dodge shop manual for 1955  instructions  in paragraph 2  states "Lower the window glass and pull the  felt run channel  out at the top.  Then pull the forward vertical section of the  felt run channel up  and out of the body opening"

I  could not find any felt  run channel  for the rear quarter panel glass.  Is there drawing or  schematic  of where this  channel is supposed to be?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks Dave, you always come up with the answers.  Looking at the drawing you sent I think this (Felt Run Channel) Part Number shown in red is what thery are talking about. This would be mounted to the convertible top frame I assume.

The PNs for the Dodge run flagged as being in Section 23-42-38 would be:

1578734 1578735 Dodge glass run

I searched those PNs via Google, eBay, Parts Clearing house (a Mopar NOS source), Hiltop Mopar and Mopar Mall and came up dry.

Maybe Andy Bernbaum?
