Found this.....

Spectacular, low-mileage, original black plate Southern California car with 50K original miles, always garaged, straight rust-free body, two-tone deep ruby red metallic and cream paint with complementary pink cloth and gold vinyl upholstery. Excellent chrome, pot metal, stainless and details inside and out. Optional factory tinted glass and scallop side trim. Powerful 354 “semi-hemi” V-8 with push-button 3-speed Torqueflite transmission, power steering and brakes, radio and heater. Interesting Route 66 backstory. Drives as nice as it looks. Quick and tight ride. Very rare find. First time ever advertised for sale. 42K obo
VERY RARE FIND: This 1957 Chrysler Windsor, with just 50K original miles, is a very, very rare car. Few remain in existence.

ICONIC DESIGN: the 1957 Chrysler is among an elite line up of classic cars manufactured by Chrysler Corporation between 1956 and 1961 promoted as “THE FORWARD LOOK.”

SPACE AGE STYLE: The styling is among the finest and purest of the Forward look designs. The 1957 Windsor’s one-year-only optional stainless scallop is arguably the most inspired and distinctive side trim scheme on any forward look Chrysler.

NO FEAR OF COLOR: The deep ruby metallic paint is the most desirable color Chrysler offered in 1957. Extra points for metallic, which enhances the lines of the car from every angle in every light. In the sun its glows like candy apple red. Also, extra points for the pop of pink upholstery!

BLING BLING: Another outstanding feature of this car is the beautifully preserved quality of the chrome and pot metal.

GET YOUR KICKS ON ROUTE 66: The original owner of this car was the matriarch of Bono’s Italian Market and Restaurant, a classic Route 66 landmark in Fontana, California for decades. The car remained in the family and garaged on their Route 66 property from 1957 til I purchased it from the estate two years ago.

VROOM VROOM: Mechanically it drives a nice as it looks. Its powerful! The brakes are sure and steady, transmission shifts strong and smooth, and the ride is tight. And of course it has Chrysler Corp’s torsion bar suspension providing superior handing and agility with which no GM or Ford product of the day compares.

This rare 1957 Chrysler Windsor is MORE than an American classic … MORE than mid-century modern masterpiece, it’s a WORLD CLASS NATIONAL TREASURE!

FIRST TIME EVER ADVERTISED FOR SALE

Igor: Where were the cowl data tags on the Detroit built 57 Chryslers? In 1956, the LA built cars (or at least the 56 Dodges) had their cowl data tags on the driver's side; Detroit was passenger side.

In defense of the LA-build idea, I noted that the interior of the trunk lid being grey = LA factory (using up all the left over paint - all mixed together). Or at least that has been suggested in the past.

Tan is the wrong descriptor for the fabric. It would be better described as copper-brown.

Yes it's actually more like copper brown than tan which was a bit confusing. Especially because the original "055" door panels have usually been aged to a different shades, they tend to be more silverish with pink and green shades on them.

I was able to replicate the colors I think should be quite accurate now and match the interior as in other trim code versions.
