Location: New Castle PA		I guess '57 Mopars run in my family! My cousin has a '57 Saratoga, dual exhaust, and is trying to locate a "stock" muffler for it. I know places like Waldron's can custom-make them but do any of you know of a direct replacement? Technically, it's part number 1943921 (zinc) or 1948247 (aluminized). According to my interchange manual, these would all be the same:

Chrysler ’57 Windsor and Saratoga dual
Chrysler ’58 Saratoga dual
DeSoto ’56 dual exhaust except convertible and station wagon
DeSoto ’57-’59 except convertible and Adventurer
Dodge ’56-’57 8 cyl dual except convertible and D500
Dodge ’56-’59 6 cyl after VIN 32250775
Dodge ’58 8 cyl Coronet and Royal up to VIN 14156 and after 25480 except convertible and D500
Dodge ’58 8 cyl Suburban except D500
Dodge ’59 8 cyl dual except convertible and D500
Plymouth ’56-’58 8 cyl dual except convertible and Fury

All he told me was that it was oval, 3 1/4" "fat", and 29" long. I think he's trying to find a replacement for just one side that was damaged or rotted out, and doesn't want to change too much on the car. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Location: So. Cal		I have a brand new one I would sell to him. I'm not sure if it's an original Mopar or a reproduction. I actually have 2 of them.
