IML: 60 hood insulation glue

Greetings everyone
 I have my new Gary Goers hood pads but I am not sure what kind of adhesive 
should be used to glue them .
. Something from Home Depot that possibly would work?.
  I wonder what the factory used?
  To have glue adhere 47 years is impressive.
