Hi, Jim -- If you can put your hands on the FSM, it will tell you which combination of wires in the relay to energize in order to get the direction of movement you want. I had to do the same on my '66, and I simply ran wires from a battery after determining from the wiring diagram that it takes straight 12v input. Happily, your seat is stuck in the highest position. If it's like mine, one motor controls everything and you should be able to get to the relay no problem. When I did this, it was the first time that seat had moved in 25 years. The seat runs back and forth fine but the tilting and lifting action isn't. Any way it can be lowered manually? Many thanks.
