IML: 1939 Custom Imperial C24

Greeting's:
     I have been in contact with the owner
of the above Restorable (?) Imperial who now has it for sale. Price,
$7,700.00.
     I had the opportunity to see & ride in this car several years ago
in Boone Iowa.
As I remember, (a feat in it's self) the engine had been rebuilt & had
at least one sleeve installed.  The door skins had rust through on the
lower portion. The owner said he has the skins. However I don't recall
if the doors have been repaired. 
there were two replaceable fenders in the rear compartment & the
interior needed help. The car is a recognized Classic by the CCCA, but
it wouldn't win any trophies in it's present condition. It would be a
daunting restoration & not for the faint-hearted . Quoted asking price 
---> $7,700.00.  Having restored a 1939 C24, I have discovered, my deep
pockets have holes in them. The car is located in Atlanta. If
