IML: 67 vs 68 lifters



The 440 used a different length lifter and pushrod from 68 onward. If you use a 67 and earlier lifter you need the 67 and earlier pushrod and obviously you would need to use the correct lifter and pushrod for 68 and later. Summit is ok, but they are NOT technically gifted. Beware of the parts droids that you may deal with there, they often can barely read the catalog in front of them let alone comprehend what it means.
