Perhaps the plus wires were the only thing changed. The other things that need replacing will show themselves the minute you try to drive the car home.

Hi, gang --

That's one sweet car, all right. Looks like a #2. Certainly not ready for
the museum. Whoever did the work did an excellent job. That said, I do
not buy the "untouched" story.

Call me skeptical, but I own a low-mileage '66 that was not driven for 30
years, and there is no way on God's green earth that every component in
that car except the plug wires can survive 40 years in showroom condition
whether the car was being driven or not. Electrical connectors corrode,
wood dries, rubber cracks and chrome pits SOMEWHERE.

701 miles? I'd like to pull the wheels and see the drums and pads, please.
Along with smooth metal and environmentally hazardous but pristine pads ,
there better be some insect nests in there, unless the car was in a climate
controlled air sac with fumigating chemicals.

Okay, rant over.

Caveat emptor,

David

There is what appears to be a phenomenal '66 Imperial on Ebay with 701 actual miles! Take a look!
