If the business has taken the time to join
the organization, I have no problem with occasional notices. If anything,
I think a member in search of a specific part or faced with a problem would
like to have a quality vendor respond to say that “we can solve the
problem”. I agree that regular SPAM should be avoided but let’s
face it, there are relatively few (quality) vendors of Imperial parts. I
have no “dog” in this fight but can tell you that I have successfully
dealt with BIGDOG1. Just my 2 cents……..

was obviously generated from a past posting I made to our list. I
think this needs to be address by the people who are in charge of our
list. This business got my e-mail address without my permission and
copied my posting in order to solicit my business. This is wrong and
should not be allowed. This kind of SPAM could discourage members
from posting their questions and instead e-mail individuals seeking information
