I gotta admit, and I am not a fan of the fuselage era, butt (pun intended) that is a beautiful car with low mileage; though why he made the drive train changes beats the heck outta me....

I got a kick out of this Ebay listing. It's listed both as a 68 and a 69, though I assume it's a 69. It looks like a nice car, but of course probably not worth the list price of $7500, though for all of you fuselage guys out there, I hope it is!
I'm sending it to point out the pic of the steering wheel. He left the ashtray open and you can see all the spent butts crowded in there! Not the best way to sell a car!

As usual, I was waiting tables tonight. A mid-60's fellow came in and we started chatting. He asked who owned the Chrysler out back. I immediately corrected him and said it is an Imperial. He looked impressed and said that he knew the difference...Imperial being the "top of the line" (his words). We chatted some more about big old cars while he munched his hamburger.
It was just so nice to talk intelligently about Imperials with someone outside our IML community!
