Just an addition to the current thread about block leaks- The ceramic leak
stopper now available does stop leaks-I used it with excellent results on a
leaking head gasket on my 3.0 Mitsubuishi in my 91 Lebaron. BUT-it will stop up
your heater core if you leave the heater open. Beware in using this-heater cores
are hard to obtain for old Mopars.
How successful are cast iron welding attempts on blocks with external
cracks? This might save the 413 original block. If indeed it is a crack and not
porous.
