Re: IML: '67 Mobile Director, How It Works

Bill:  I believe you meant to write "hi-intensity" lamp.  "High Tension" is jargon used in the electric utilities transmission business to designate high voltage.

The Mobile Director Option on the 67 & 68 Crown Coupes consists of a right front seat that turns to face the rear, a fold out table, that can be positioned between the right front & rear seat, or  between the two rear seats, or in front of the left rear seat and as a padded armrest when folded between the two front seats.  There was also a high tension lamp mounted on a bendable stalk, that was plugged into the right rear cigarette lighter.
