Re: IML: mysterious wheelcover ..

Is there a part number anywhere on the wheel cover?

According to the August 1958 MOPAR parts book for 55-58 cars, the wheel
cover medallion (the center crown) for 55 and 56 Imperials has the same part
number. However, the actual wheel covers for 55 and 56 have different part
numbers; in fact, the C69, C-70 and C-73 all have different part numbers, 4
different wheel covers for the four model/year combinations.

I don't know that this helps in pinning down the mystery wheel cover, but it
at least indicates the 55 and 56 wheel covers are not the same.

I had a 55' and its wheelcovers looked just like the ones on my 56'. I
believe they are they same. any case that is what that wheel cover fits.
